Are we really gonna do this, though? Because I seem to remember Roman Polanski getting a standing ovation at the Oscars. And… countless other white men being awarded and loved by award shows despite incidences of abuse being public knowledge. 

Don’t get me wrong, I agree that the Chris Brown situation is ridiculous and worth being called out. But it’s a bit fishy that it’s the only thing being called out.
