So sick of Kurt being allowed to find everyone attractive except his boyfriend. And we’re not even going to get started on the fact that no one is allowed to acknowledge that Kurt is attractive.

well it’s  because then they can treat kurt being attracted to people as a joke. god it’s like fucking hoyay but with an actual queer character

Kurt has been shown to find Blaine attractive, but most if not all of it occurred before they actually became boyfriends. Back then, even if they were taking Kurt’s feelings seriously, it was still “safe”. 

Same goes for Santana and Brittany, btw. There was far more sexual innuendo before they got together. This season, Santana has spent most of her time flirting with/commenting on how attractive guys are, although at least she qualifies it with “even though I’m a lesbian…” This type of thing would bother me even if Santana were bisexual, because it’s still her only being allowed to show sexual attraction to guys, not to Brittany, or even other girls/women.

It really is like hoyay with an actual queer character. It may be canon that these characters are queer, and in relationships, but most of the romantic and sexual attraction is still more subtext than text, except for Very Special Gay Episodes (The First Time, Heart).

“Come on, Kurt, you can’t stay up there forever,” Blaine says, rocking back on his heels and smiling pleasantly as he looks up at Kurt through the branches, and how in the world did he spot him anyway when camouflage is pretty much Kurt’s only useful skill? His last attempt at hiding must have been clumsier than he thought.

“Your camouflage is awesome, if you’re wondering. You just forgot to hide your tracks.”
